A:  The ADP-SIGM-140 adapter will fit on the Smith & Wesson Sigma Series that have the rail system.

Q:  What lasers will fit on the ADP-HKSP-140?

A:  Laserlyte’s LRS-0650-SSW or FSL-0650-140 will fit onto the ADP-SIGM-140.  Also, any other laser/flashlight system that fits onto a Picatinny/Weaver rail system will fit. 

Q:  Why do I need this adapter for my S&W Sigma Series?

A:  The rail system on the S & W Sigma Series does not allow a laser to mount on because the grooves do not extend all the way to the end of the barrel.  Because of that, a laser is not able to slide onto the rail system.  The ADP-SIGM-140 turns the rail system into a Weaver/Pictinny type rail system which does allow a laser/flashlight to be mounted on.

Q:  How does the adapter stay in place?

A:  The ADP-SIGM-140 fits snug into the grooves on the rail system of the S & W Sigma Series.  There then is 2 screws that tighten down, with a hex key provided, the adapter to the rail.  No laser is needed to keep the adapter in place.

Q: How far will the APD-SIGM-140 and laser hang down on my gun?

A: If mounting a FSL-0650-140 onto the adapter, the laser will hang down approximately 1 1/8” from the rail grooves of the gun.  If mounting a LRS-0650-SSW onto the adapter, the laser will hand down approximately 1 5/8” from the rail grooves of the gun.
