FAQ: LT-LR

Q: What firearms will the LT-LR work with?

A: The LT-LR works with firearms chambered in 22LR, 22WMR, 22 SHORT, 22 LONG, .223 REM., 22-250, 220 Swift with at least a 1.875” barrel.

Q: How do I install the LT-LR?

A: The LT-LR has a small plastic insulator located within the battery compartment. This needs to be removed before use. After removing insulator, insert the screw included with the laser into the adapter and thread the screw into the LT-LR. This will expand the adapter so you will need to expand it only until it can be inserted snugly in your barrel. Gently insert the LT-LR into the muzzle of the pistol. The laser will activate when your weapon is dry fired.

Q: Will dry firing my weapon with the LT-LR damage my firearm?

A: To help reduce strain on your firing pin, we do suggest using snap caps.

Q: How long does the LT-LR activate?

A: When the hammer or striker is fired the laser activates for 100 milli-seconds to show where impact would have been if one was shooting with ammunition.

Q: The batteries die within a few days of installation. What’s going on?

A: The LT-LR is a sound and vibration activated device. When connection is being made with the batteries, the laser is constantly searching for sound and vibration, therefore draining the battery power. Twist the two halves of the body apart 2-3 to times. Check if it is off by tapping the LT-LR gently on a hard surface like a table or a ring. This will turn the laser off and allow you the full battery life of 10,000 shots.
