Q: How do I install the UTA-CU?

Q: How do I sight in the laser?
A: There are two adjustment screws located on the laser. The elevation adjustment screw is on the bottom of the laser; the windage adjustment screw is on the left side of the laser.

Q: What size hex wrench do the adjustment screws use?
A: The adjustment screws use a .035 hex wrench. If you lose yours and cannot find one please contact Customer Service via email at info@laserlyte.com, and we will send you a new one.

Q: Does the UTA-CU have a pulse mode?
A: No, the laser UTA-CU doesn’t have a pulse mode. The UTA-CU has one of three modes. One with both the laser and LED activated, one with just the LED or just the laser. To program the UTA-CU to the mode you prefer, simply turn the unit on and with the unit on press and hold down the activation button until the mode changes (this may take up to fifteen seconds). Once the unit is in the mode you prefer let go of the activation button and the unit will turn off, when you turn the unit back on it will be in the preferred mode. To return to another mode, simply repeat this process.

Q: What kind of batteries and how many does the UTA-CU use?
A: The UTA-CU uses three batteries, size 357.

Q: How long do the batteries last?
A: Laser only: up to 5 hrs, LED only: 1.5 hrs, Laser/LED: 1hr

Q: Where can I purchase replacement batteries for my UTA-CU?
A: The 357 batteries are standard camera/watch/hearing aid batteries that can be purchased at your local Wal-Mart, Radio Shack, local drug store or any other place that sells watch or hearing aid batteries.
