Q: What firearms will the LRS-0650-SSW fit on?

A: The LRS-0650-SSW will fit virtually all railed pistols and rifles that have a Weaver/Picatinny type rail system. It will also work on a 3/8th inch dove tail, NATO rails, or Military Specifications 1913 rails. ** PLEASE NOTE** There are some pistols that require a Laserlyte Adapter in order for the LRS-0650-SSW to fit. Those are:

  • Heckler & Koch USP
  • Heckler & Koch USP Compact
  • Smith & Wesson Sigma Series
  • Bersa Thunder Series
  • Bersa Mini-Firestorm Series
Q: What if my firearm does not have a rail system?

A: If your firearm does not have a rail system this laser will NOT work for your firearm. You must already have a rail system. If you do not have a rail system please see Laserlyte’s Universal Pistol Laser, which will fit.

Q: How does the LRS-0650-SSW attach to the firearm?

A: The mount for the LRS-0650-SSW is a “claw like” mount that slides onto the rail and is tighten securely down with two screws and a hex key that are provided.

Q: How do you turn on the LRS-0650-SSW?

A: The LRS-0650-SSW comes with the ambidextrous slide switch that attaches to the back of the laser body. You simply slide the switch to the right or left and the laser will turn on. To turn off, simply slide the switch back to the center position.

Q: How much does the LRS-0650-SSW weigh?

A: The LRS-0650-SSW weighs approximately 1.2 ounces. That includes the laser body, the mount, and batteries.

Q: What kind of batteries does the LRS-0650-SSW use?

A: The LRS-0650-SSW uses 3 A76 batteries, which are also known as LR-44 or AG13 batteries.

Q: Where are the batteries located and how do you change them?

A: The batteries are located inside the round laser body. To change the batteries you simply unscrew the activation slide switch and slide the batteries out. To replace the batteries simply slide them back into the laser body and screw back on the activation slide switch.

Q: How long is the battery life for the LRS-0650-SSW?

A: The batteries will have a life of approximately 1.5 hours continuously. If not used continuously, they will have a much longer life.

Q: Where can these batteries be purchase?

A: These batteries are standard camera/watch batteries that you can find at your local Wal-Mart, Radio Shack, a local Drug Store, or any where else that carries these kind of batteries. A 12 pack can also be purchased on Laserlyte’s website for $12 plus shipping.
