Q: What is the difference between the UTA-DB and the UTA-DBT?
A: The only difference between the units is the body color. The UTA-DB features a black body, while the UTA-DBT features a tan body.
Q: What firearms will the UTA-DB fit on?
A: Compatible with Diamondback DB380 and DB9 models.
Q: How do I install the UTA-DB?
A: The versatile Master Module fits into the gun’s housing seamlessly; matching the gun’s dust cover and trigger guard with perfect fit. The two sides of the laser housing wrap around the firearm’s trigger guard and is secured using the included mounting screws.
Q: How do I sight in the laser?
A: There are two adjustment screws located on the laser. The elevation adjustment screw is on the bottom of the laser; the windage adjustment screw is on the right side of the laser.
Q: What size hex wrench do the adjustment screws use?
A: The adjustment screws use a .035 hex wrench. If you lose yours and cannot find one please contact Customer Service via email at firstname.lastname@example.org, and we will send you a new one.
Q: Does the UTA-DB have a pulse mode?
A: Yes, this laser does have a pulse mode. To program your laser to pulse, simply turn the laser on and with the laser on press and hold down the activation button until the laser begins to pulse (this may take up to seven seconds). Once the laser is pulsing let go of the activation button and the laser will turn off, when you turn the laser back on it will be in the pulse mode. To return to the constant on mode, simply repeat this process.
Q: I’m left-handed, is this laser user friendly?
A: The UTA-DB features an ambidextrous on/off switch for easy activation.
Q: What kind of batteries and how many does the UTA-DB use?
A: The UTA-DB uses three batteries, size 392. We now offer an updated, improved battery cap with a 3/32 hex head.
Q: How long do the batteries last?
A: The battery life for normal usage is 5 hours in the constant on mode and 10 hours in the pulse mode.
Q: Where can I purchase replacement batteries for my UTA-DB?
A: The 392 batteries are standard camera/watch/hearing aid batteries that can be purchased at your local Wal-Mart, Radio Shack, local drug store or any other place that sells watch or hearing aid batteries.
